Weldon Owen and Field & Stream Release Guidebook

Weldon Owen and Field & Stream have teamed up for a new book, The Total Outdoorsman Manual. This is the first time the two Bonnier business units have collaborated on a book project.

Anthony Licata, Field & Stream editor-in-chief, told MIN, the trade newsletter covering the book launch, that The Total Outdoorsman Manual is the "essence of Field & Stream," because, as he wrote in the book's foreword, "The more that you can do, the more fun you will have."

The book project evolved from an article a 2008 issue of Field & Stream outlining 50 skills, which in book form turned into a total of 374.
