ToppLoppet Race Attracts 4,200

ToppHälsa's second annual ToppLoppet race a strong followup to last year's success of the premiere.

On Oct. 1, the second annual ToppLoppet race was held by Bonnier Tidskrifter title ToppHälsa. The number of runners increased by 40 percent, with 4,200 people running five or ten kilometers under a sunny October sky in Stockholm's Hagaparken on the outskirts of the city.

"It's a wonderful feeling to see thousands of happy people warm up and then run together," says Frida Boisen, editor-in-chief for ToppHälsa. "It's an amazing atmosphere. And so cute with all the 800 kids who started with the MiniToppLoppet."

The business idea for the race is, according to Frida, "to have an important event that is 100 percent about energy and inspiration, just like ToppHälsa except live. Obviously the idea is also to find new readers and that ToppLoppet should turn a profit – which it does. ToppLoppet is a financial success already in its second year."
