If you're a faithful reader of Sydsvenskan.se or Trelleborgsallehanda.se, you're in for a surprise: the sites have gotten a whole new look. The two are just the first of Sweden's southern local daily newspapers to get a redesign. Kristianstadsbladet and Ystads Allehanda will come out with newly designed sites in two weeks.
The sites have been totally redesigned with a range of new functions will be available and much faster downloading. Instead of a single feed going from top to bottom, the sites will have a range of different feeds for the reader, including a top news section, a latest news section, gossip, blogs and videos, as well as a strategically placed "pulse" feed showing stories ranked by reader preferences such as most read, most liked, etc.
