SF Film in Denmark is cooperating with Kræftens Bekæmpelse and the campaign Vidunderlivet, which aims to lower cancer deaths.
Every year some 400 Danish women are struck by uterine cancer, an illness that can be prevented with vaccinations and x-ray screening. Prevention is the focus of the Vidunderlivet campaign, which officially began in mid-February 2010.
SF Film has chosen 31 DVDs in which a portion of the sales will go to Vidunderlivet. Among the titles are Becoming Jane, Burn After Reading, Fracture, A Good Year, The Candidate and Sex and the City.
Along with SF Film, a number of Denmark's biggest celebrities are taking part and providing official support, including the rapper Jooks, model Mathias Lauridsen and actors Julie Øgaard, Lauraq Christensen and Neel Rønholt.
