Readers pick Twilight title as book of the year in Germany's Hörkules Awards for audio books.
On March 8, German audio book publisher Hörbuch Hamburg Verlag had much to celebrate when its smash hit Silberfisch line book Bis (s) zum Ende der Nacht (Breaking Dawn) by Stephenie Meyer won the Hörkulino prize for children's and young adult audio book of the year. The Hörkulino, which is chosen by readers, is a category in the Hörkules Awards, Germany's major prizes for audio books. More than 100,000 votes were cast for the book, which is read by Ulrike Grote, an audience favorite and longtime reader for Hörbuch Hamburg audiobooks. "The public choice award is the best prize," said Grote, speaking after the awards ceremony in Cologne.
