Norwegian Bonnier Titles Increase Readership

The latest readership numbers a significant jump for a number of Bonnier Media magazines in Norway.

When the fall's reader data was released by independent research firm Synovate, Norway's Bonnier Media had reason to celebrate. Women's title Costume had increased by 38.9 percent and Tara by 17.1 percent. Shelter titles Bo Bedre and BoligPluss also showed positive increased: Bo Bedre increased by 39,000 readers or 18.7 percent, while BoligPluss increased by 23,000 or 21.9 percent.

"The data confirms that niche magazines are increasing in readership while weekly publications are losing ground," says Trond Juliussen, advertising sales director for Bonnier Media. "We continue to deliver to our advertisers, which makes us both happy. We say 'we shouldn't be something for everyone, but everything for some' and we know that we're succeeding in reaching sharply niched audiences."
