BOLOGNA, ITALY—Des Higgins will be leaving his position as CEO of Bonnier Publishing at the end of March after a 6 year involvement with the group.
"I have very much enjoyed my time with Bonnier, but after a number of years as CEO, it was time for a fresh challenge," said Des.
Maria Curman, CEO of Bonnier Books, added, "It has been a pleasure to work with Des and I wish him every success for the future. Bonnier is committed to its expansion in the English language children's book markets; the recent acquisition of Templar in the UK has been an important step in that process."

Des will be very much missed, but I'll look forward to meeting Richard and working with him moving forward. Wishing Des all the very best for his next challenge.
