Swedish content agency and custom publisher Spoon has created a new iPhone app for the fitness center chain SATS.
"We wanted to improve the benefits for our members, so we launched a mobile website and an iPhone app that lets users sign up for classes, find the closest gym, news and tips for training, diet and health," says Eva Lundström, marketing manager for SATS Norden. "Spoon, which does our membership magazine, has done the iPhone app as well as a redesign of the magazine so that our communication with members is more consistent."
Anders Ribba, CEO of Spoon, says that he is pleased that SATS has chosen to develop its work in the digital domain with Spoon, which is part of Bonnier Tidskrifter. "It's an area that is growing strongest for us at the moment," he says.
The app, which was launched last week on iTunes and will be available in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Finnish, will be continuously updated with editorial material. Check it out here.
