Money on the Table at TV4

This fall, a new gameshow, Pengarna på bordet (Money on the table) will premiere on Swedish TV4. Competitors can win up to SEK 2 million if they answer the program's eight questions correctly. The program host will be Peter Jihde.

"Peter is one of Sweden's absolutely best hosts and I'm so happy that he agreed to tackle this role. With him at the helm, I'm confident it will be an exciting, engaging and entertaining show," says Fredrik Arefalk, program manager for TV4.

"I've always wanted to host a game show where cleverness, risk-taking and a bit of luck are the main ingredients," says Jihde. "Now I get to do it."

The program format comes from the U.K. originally as The Million Pound Drop Live and has been broadcast in country versions in Australia, Israel, teh Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and the U.S.
