Minna Ahlsten may be a Bonnier-trained sales representative, but it's her dedication and true passion for the job that warrants her success and recognition as a finalist for the Bonnier Sales Awards. The Tampere, Finland, native joined Bonnier after graduating from Tampere University three years ago to participate in MTV3's sales training program. A year later, she was hired as a sales representative, and her customer-oriented approach has earned her a nod for Sales Representative of the Year.
"I try to sell solutions, not just campaigns," she says. "It doesn't matter if the client's budget is 100,000 or 1,000 euros, I want the customer to be satisfied." And her customers have been more than satisfied, as Ahlsten has impressed MTV3 with her great deals. In December 2009, she successfully brought a women's lingerie chain to TV marketing for the first time with MTV3, and they're already planning to fasten 90 percent of their annual marketing budget to MTV Media.
Ahlsten's quick to point out that her success isn't just about the numbers, though. "I love working with the customers, and I love working with my team. It's all about teamwork."
