Charlotte Fagerlund: Davis Cup News

This morning my nine month old son, Jacob, got to go with me to work for half an hour. His dad, who´s on parental leave at the moment, had to go to the dentist. Jacob sat quietly in a corner and smiled, so his mother could work.

The Friday was also dominated by news on the Davis cup competition, plus preparations for the redesign of Sydsvenskan and Sydsvenskan.se. I had hoped to get some time to prepare the Malmö section for tomorrows launch, but the day was eaten up by other things. I wrote some shorts tories and had to go out to take two pictures for the web that the Malmö photographer didn´t have time to take.

The supplement about the new Sydsvenskan was printed and looked good. The sub editor Margaret Person and the news graphic group had done a fantastic job. At the end of the day I wrote some short articles for the new technology pages in the printed paper.

Now I´m looking forward to seeing the redesigned web site which, hopefully, will be out there tomorrow morning. And I´m also looking forward to seeing the new printed paper that will turn up in my mailbox tomorrow.
