Per Gunnar Holmgren leaves MTI and Dagens Medicin

"I have been working as editor-in-chief and CEO of the Swedish Dagens Medicin since 1994 and as CEO of MTI AB since the start in 1998. Although I have been managing MTI for such a long period it was not at all an easy decision. It has been fantastic years building new publishing business together with highly qualified professionals.

I have accepted an offer to become the CEO of Nobel Web AB. This company manages and develops the website of the Nobel Foundation. Nobel Web produces media about the Nobel Prize and about the scientific fields connected to the Nobel Laureates. To be part of managing the globally extremely well recognized brand of the Nobel Prize is a huge and stimulating challenge."

The Chairman of the MTI Board of Directors, Mr Casten Almqvist, has already started the process of recruiting the successor of Per Gunnar who has a six months term of notice.

"The operation in all MTI-companies will continue as usual until we have recruited a successor. The strategy of our companies is very well defined", says Casten Almqvist, who today informed the management team of the MTI Group.
