BOSS - Bonnier Strategy Seminar
Bonnier Strategy Seminar, BOSS, is an international business-oriented strategy program for senior executives in the Bonnier Group. The participants are nominated and chosen from different business areas by group management in Bonnier AB.
The objective of the program is to train top executives in the different business divisions to apply analytical tools to assess their market challenges and develop strategic perspectives. Participants will get support to implement the result in their own management and go from learning to action. BOSS program is developed together with Ralf Boscheck, professor for Strategy, Economics and Business Policy at IMD in Lausanne.
The 12-day program is divided in three four-day modules linked by two project reports, review and feedback sessions. The group will work on business projects, media industry issues and Bonnier Group concerns.
The participants will learn:
- To use tools and advanced methods to think strategically under supervision of one of the world's leading business school professors.
- To use the tools to analyze their own market challenges.
- To develop strategies in their own business and meet the changes in time.
- To share and discuss strategies with experienced colleagues within Bonnier's different business areas all over the world.
- To go from learning to action and implement new knowledge in their own business.
- To develop a useful network of peers on a group level and get an overview of the challenges for the Bonnier Group.
Format
The program will be conducted in English and the number of participants is limited to 20 people. Participants are executives and business leaders from subsidiary companies in the different media divisions. The program is based on interactive participation in groups and plenum sessions, with project reports between sessions. It is divided into three four-day seminars with homework in-between. Two seminars will be held outside Sweden.
Faculty
Ralf Boscheck, German professor of Business Policy and Economics at IMD in Lausanne, will lead the program in conjunction with Stefan Mehr, Executive Director of the Bonnier Media University.
How to apply
Participants will be invited by Bonnier AB CEO Jonas Bonnier in coordination with business area managers.
