Bonnier R&D focuses on innovations at the intersection of media, modern storytelling and emerging technology. Our work includes developing cutting-edge new media prototypes, launching start-up tech businesses, and investing in promising new companies.

Why does Bonnier believe in research and development? Our corporate mission is to “continuously reinvent the art of publishing,” and the R&D department is one of the main facilitators of that vision. Research and development work is the foundation for future Bonnier digital operations, and is crucial to fostering profitable businesses in the evolving new media market.

Bonnier R&D has offices in Stockholm and San Francisco and consists of team members with expertise in digital media, journalism, trendwatching and research analysis, business development, software development, and user experience. The department was formed in 2008, and is a part of the Bonnier Digital business area.
