Life At Bonnier - Anna Essling

Anna Returns Home

Anna returns to Sweden after her stay in Florida.

There seem to be children all over the place here at the airport in Washington. I'm traveling with Danish Maria Brunckhorst Smidt, who brought her whole little family on the GROW program; the wonderfully cute twins Alfred and Anne-Mai seem to be all over the place right now.

Anna and Amelia Island

Swedish videographer and GROW blogger Anna Essling tours Amelia Island and Key West in search of pirates.

When I arrived at Amelia Island, we had bad weather, but we already knew that from the forecasts.  The idea was to take indoor pictures during nasty weather and to be outdoors if nice weather appeared. Celeste from CVB (the Convention & Visitors Bureau) was my guide lengthwise and crosswise around Amelia Island.

Anna Essling: Disney and Drums

Swedish GROW blogger in Florida discovers Disney World (and doesn't hate it).

Today, friends took me to the beautiful city of Mount Dora. All of a sudden, in the middle of nowhere, this little picturesque town turns up. Apparently, it's famous for its antique auctions. It had a beautiful lake and was packed with nice restaurants, cute shops and happy strollers. Not to mention the ice cream shops with homemade ice cream. It was a happy day. I will certainly miss Florida and I'm bound to return sooner or later to pay a visit.

Anna Essling, by the Water

From Stockholm to Florida: the GROW videographer enjoys a swim by a luxury resort in the middle of her work day.

Ok, last week's filming of the space shuttle didn't happen because there were some technical problems and the launch was delayed. We found out about it at the last minute and had to turn back with the boat still on the trailer behind the car. So the trip to the ocean didn't take place, at least not then...

Anna Essling, Florida

From Stockholm to Florida: this videographer is doing a deep dive in southeast U.S.

Hi! I'm Anna, a videographer from Swedish TV4 News, who has landed in Florida to work for Bonnier Corp.  They publish a large set of beautiful and glossy magazines on various themes and I work for the Marine Group, helping to supply web material for the marine Web sites. This position requested someone with a diving certificate and I hope I will be given the chance to shoot underwater material.  That would certainly be a dream come true!
