Contract Signed for Newspaper Sale in Southern Sweden

In June, Bonnier announced it would be divesting its ownership of the southern Swedish newspapers Kristianstadsbladet, Ystads Allehanda and Trelleborgs Allehanda. Yesterday the deal was concluded, which means Bonnier's daily newspaper operations focus on big city papers and that Gota Media will be the new owner of the three southern Swedish newspapers together with the Stiftelsen Kristianstadpress foundation.

Swedish local dailies in the south are getting a new look on the web.

If you're a faithful reader of Sydsvenskan.se or Trelleborgsallehanda.se, you're in for a surprise: the sites have gotten a whole new look. The two are just the first of Sweden's southern local daily newspapers to get a redesign. Kristianstadsbladet and Ystads Allehanda will come out with newly designed sites in two weeks.
