Norwegian Bonnier Titles Increase Readership

The latest readership numbers a significant jump for a number of Bonnier Media magazines in Norway. 

When the fall's reader data was released by independent research firm Synovate, Norway's Bonnier Media had reason to celebrate. Women's title Costume had increased by 38.9 percent and Tara by 17.1 percent.

At Stockholm’s City Hall, the winners of the Bonnier Sales Awards 2010 were revealed at a gala dinner and ceremony. Some 150 guests looked on as three winners were chosen from among 12 finalists.

On March 18, it was time again to recognize Bonnier's best sales staff at the Bonnier Sales Awards. The winners were announced at a gala dinner at Stockholm's City Hall, famous as the site of the Nobel Awards dinner. TARA Tops in Norway

TARA wins readers, with circulation up 31 percent in 2009.

Five years after launching, TARA has grown more than any other women's magazine in Norway. Circulation stands now at 51,000, an increase of 31 percent since 2008.

"We are naturally happy with our success, but it isn't a complete surprise," says Editor-in-Chief Torunn Pettersen.
