Ideas Into Apps

Brilliant apps are the goal at Bonnier Dev Camp in Helsinki later this month. It’s a new idea from magazine publisher Bonnier Publications Oy.

Divaani Starts Finland's First Interior Design Blog Community

The latest design news from Finland: Divaaniblogit.fi, a new blog community for those interested in interior design.

Finnish interior design magazine Divaani has compiled Finland's most interesting interior design blogs to create a new online community called Divaaniblogit.fi. The aim has been to create a visual and interactive community that promotes and develops Finnish design and home decorating culture. The site will launch tomorrow, June 1.

There are already over 2,000 interior design blogs in Finland, but both blogs and bloggers have lacked their own network.

Onward with Olivia

With Editor-in-Chief Niina Leino at the helm, Finland's Olivia magazine has plenty to celebrate.

On Saturday May 29, girls named Olivia across Finland will be celebrating their name day - and Finland's Olivia magazine will be celebrating along with the rest of them. Olivia, which was launched in 2007, has plenty of reason to celebrate. The magazine is already turning a profit and it not only has the fastest growing readership of any magazine in the highly competitive Finnish media market (133,000 and up 20 percent from 2009), it is also No. 3 in ad sales.
