Bonnier Adds Content to Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1

Ten apps from Bonnier will be included when the new Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet hits the stores on June 29.

When Samsung's new Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet computer appears in Swedish telecom Telia's stores in Sweden on June 29, the computer will be filled with news and entertainment from a range of Bonnier companies. A total of 10 apps from Bonnier will be pre-installed on the device, which will be packaged together with coupons for subscriptions and premium services for the included apps.

Bonnier Tidskrifter Shows Strong Improvement Over 2009

With increased revenues and profits, 2010 proved to be a good year for Swedish magazine publisher Bonnier Tidskrifter.

For Swedish magazine publisher Bonnier Tidskrifter, 2010 was a big improvement over 2009: Revenues increased by 8 percent and profits by 63 percent. The year finished with 9 percent growth in print ads, compared with the market's 5 percent (according to IRM). Print sales accounted for 26 percent of Bonnier Tidskrifter's total revenues, and have increased in importance over time. Business from ad sales within events, custom publishing, concepts and the web also developed further in 2010.

Bonnier Publications Launches New Website

In the coming days Bonnier Publications will launch its new corporate website. Lars Kivig, web coordinator for Bonnier Publications, tells more.

The new corporate website is built on the open source platform Drupal.

"We chose the system in order to be able to develop our sites more dynamically. With Drupal as the basic platform, our focus will be on development instead of technical limitations. It also gives our editors a tool to simplify their daily work, making them more agile. This is important for a fast-growing media channel like the Web," explains Lars.
