There is an ever- increasing demand for better administrative and fiscal monitoring. New laws, regulations and requirements from external parties contribute to greater complexity, while we ourselves have an increasing need to monitor our finances with higher precision. A comprehensive analysis of the Bonnier Group's administrative work in the Nordic countries in 2009 showed that within payroll and finance administration, we worked with more than 60 different systems from more than 40 different finance and payroll departments.

In the long run, this complicates our ability to meet demands and expectations from customers, banks, suppliers and employees. Bonnier therefore decided to concentrate a larger part of the Group's Nordic majority-owned companies' administrative work under one roof. This is the foundation of Bonnier Solutions AB.

Since a large part of the Bonnier Group expertise within these two areas over time will be concentrated in one place, it is of great importance to continuously improve and develop this competence.
